Accomodations
Hotels in Bhutan range from tourist-class to luxury, all of which offer clean, comfortable, and modern facilities with friendly service. Rooms are typically booked on a twin-share basis and come with basic amenities; most accommodations have heating facilities.
Food And Drink
The range of restaurants in Bhutan is limited, particularly outside of hotels. Local menus are typical, and unboiled water is unsafe to drink anywhere in Bhutan. Always opt for bottled water. Uncooked vegetables are not safe unless soaked in iodine, and it’s best to peel fruit before consuming.
